Position Summary: Reporting to the Senior Director of Major Gifts, the Senior Donor Manager will be a key member of the Global Relationships and Resources team. The focus of this position is to develop and manage a portfolio of major-level-giving donors by initiating, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding relationships with individuals, couples, and families who partner financially with Davos 100.
This role serves New York region.
The success of this role is measured by the following:

●Donor Prospects Qualified
●Full Participation of team members
●Number of gifts solicited / closed
Responsibilities:
●Qualifies, develops and manages a portfolio of 150 regional major donor prospects ($10K and higher).
●Develops and executes thoughtful, innovative, and individualized strategies for qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors and involve program colleagues and organizational leaders as appropriate.
●Works closely with the Senior Director to create and measure regional revenue objectives and key results for portfolio assignments.
●Assists the Senior Director with regional volunteer(s), events, and regional strategies.
●Undertakes special projects and assignments to advance the mission of Davos 100
Supervisory:
●Direct reports
Education & Experience:
●A bachelor’s degree is required with 8 years of overall work experience.
●Minimum 5 years successful fundraising experience in nonprofit organization(s).
●An advanced degree or Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) certification is desirable.
●Experience with “Moves Management” or related strategic relationship development.
●Experience in crafting and personally soliciting major gifts from individuals
●Experience in utilizing customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage donor relationships.
●Proven success in major donor development
●Ability to lead face-to-face meetings and the confidence to solicit funding using effective and appropriate language.
●Skilled in the art of ‘closing the gift’ with donors.
●Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven experience in creating compelling donor materials and pitches that inspire action and support.
●Collaborative, team-oriented work style, with self-motivation and drive to get the job done with little supervision.
