Responsibilities of the Grant Writer:

●Will manage the complete grant application process, including drafting letters of inquiry, preparing grant applications, and submitting required documentation within deadlines.

●Responsible for the pre and post award management of a portfolio of grants and contracts.

●Works directly with the Research Team in the submission of grant applications.

●Primary duties include compliance, budget oversight and maintenance, subcontract management, reports to sponsors, and daily administrative and operational requirements of assigned.

Requirements of the Grant Writer:

●Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years relevant grant administration experience. Prepare written materials to support strategic initiatives, including briefings, select cultivation and stewardship materials, cover letters, templates for social media posts, and sophisticated summaries.

●Must have familiarity with grant databases and online resources for grant research and prospecting.
